How much data does Congress keep? Today the House of Representatives has released a clue in the form of a 32-page Request for Proposal (RFP) for Data Center Space and Operations. The document outlines the requirements, process and timeline for bids. In addition to technical specifications and costs, the RFP includes risk mitigation factors, such as the need for the data center to be located at least 300 miles from Capitol Hill and within 100 miles of a military base.
